Denise began her career in accounting as a bookkeeper in 1997 before ultimately deciding to go back to school to get her accounting degree. While working full time, she graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accounting in May 2011. Prior to joining SST in 2023, Denise worked for a large regional firm in Amarillo, Texas gaining over 10 years of experience in audit with a focus on nonprofit organizations, employee benefit plans and government entities.
