Ryan has nearly two decades of experience advising business leaders and high-net-worth individuals on sophisticated tax strategy, complex compliance matters, and transactional consulting. As a Partner at SST Accountants & Consultants, Ryan brings deep technical fluency and strategic perspective to his clients across a wide array of industries including oil & gas, real estate, construction, professional services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and wholesale sectors.
He has particular expertise working with high-net-worth families on their estate and trust matters as well as consulting on mergers & acquisitions —providing clients with nuanced guidance on structuring, compliance, and long-term planning in complex and evolving financial landscapes.
Beginning his career in San Antonio, Ryan earned both a BBA and MBA in Accounting from St. Mary’s University, graduating with honors. Early in his career, he built a foundation in tax compliance, audit, and financial consulting at respected regional firms, developing a reputation for delivering precise, high-impact counsel.
In 2018, Ryan acquired a long-established Dallas practice and founded Schilhab Bezner CPAs—a boutique firm focused on strategic tax planning, compliance, and financial advisory for complex, closely held businesses and individuals. As Managing Partner, he oversaw all aspects of the firm’s growth, operations, and client engagement. In 2024, he led the successful merger of SB CPAs with SST Accountants & Consultants, expanding capabilities to deliver even broader, deeper value to clients.
Ryan is known for his technical acumen, client-centric approach, and ability to translate complex tax and financial matters into plain English and actionable strategies that drive meaningful outcomes.
