Rob Mehlmann
Rob Mehlmann is a compliance supervisor within SST’s Audit & Attest Department. With more than 25 years of experience working with post-secondary educational institutions, Rob specializes in performing compliance audits and providing compliance and operational consulting to for-profit and nonprofit schools, with offerings ranging from certificate to doctorate degree programs. Rob also performs 401(K) audits for career schools and other industries.
Rob graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science, emphasis in economics, and began his career providing internal audits to numerous career schools nationwide. He also served as a financial aid director for an automotive school before joining SST in 2008 as a senior compliance auditor. After leaving the firm to work in-house as an internal audit manager for a multi-campus career school, Rob continued to provide contract work to SST before returning full-time in 2019.
As a leader within the audit department, Rob dedicates his time to mentoring SST associates, and he can often be found traveling to attend seminars, workshops and conferences to stay up to date on the latest industry best practices.
